Frequently Asked Questions

Once you begin testosterone replacement therapy,
will you have to continue taking it for the rest of your life?

Most men choose to remain on Testosterone Replacement Therapy indefinitely due to its positive benefits. However, our program is designed to allow your body to maintain its own production of testosterone. This supports your testes in resuming normal hormone production levels if you ever choose to cease the protocol.

Does testosterone therapy have risks or unwanted effects associated with it?

As with any medication, unwanted effects are possible if not correctly administered or taken in the proper dose. At T-Up Men’s Health and Wellness Center, our physicians consistently measure your hormone levels to ensure they are maintained at optimal yet safe levels. In the rare instance that undesired changes occur, modifications to your medications and doses will be made.

Is the therapy covered by my health insurance?

T-Up Men’s Health and Wellness Center does not accept insurance. While some plans may offer minimal benefits for testosterone, they often cover creams or gels insufficient for optimal levels. Our all-inclusive monthly fee covers ALL medications, doctor visits, and follow-up labs, providing a cost-effective and comprehensive solution without insurance concerns.

Does testosterone therapy cause prostate cancer?

Research has shown that testosterone replacement therapy does not cause prostate cancer and may even help protect against it. No relationship has been found between testosterone levels and prostate cancer risk.

Why do we use injections instead of creams and gels for administering testosterone?

T-Up Men’s Health and Wellness Center prefers injections for their higher absorption rates, allowing for more optimal hormone levels. Injections also eliminate the risk of hormone transfer to family members and require less frequent administration compared to creams and gels.

Is testosterone the only medication I will be taking?

In addition to testosterone, we utilize HCG and Anastrozole to optimize hormone levels, maintain testosterone production, and prevent unwanted effects. These medications work synergistically to ensure safe and effective therapy.

How long will I have to be on the therapy before I see results?

While many men notice positive changes within days, significant improvements are typically seen within four to six weeks. Your blood levels will be re-tested after three months, with medication adjustments made as needed.

What’s included in the monthly cost for my Testosterone Therapy Program? Are there ANY extra costs or fees involved?

Our monthly fee covers ALL three medications, doctor’s visits, follow-up labs, supplies, and shipping. There are no additional fees or hidden costs. T-Up Men’s Health and Wellness Center also offers additional services and products, which can be discussed with your provider during your consultation.
